Great Ergonomics

A high resolution widescreen monitor can be rotated through +90/-90 degrees to increase comfort, and allows an examination to be shared with the patient or colleague. An almost silent cooling system improves the quality of the working environment and reduces operator disturbance.

eTouch^™: Speed Up Your Workflow

Esaote’s simple-to-use, eTouch^™screen-based interface guides the operator through set-up and image capture, enabling faster workflow. The innovative and modern user interface implementing the eTouch^™technology offers an extraordinary improvement for the ultrasound users: the right transducer and the right preset, in one touch. Customized settings and multiple functions can be organised according to clinical preferences and then easily recalled by just pressing a button.

iQProbes appleprobe: an Innovative Approach in Ergonomics

The appleprobe keeps hand and wrist in their natural alignment distributing the grip throughout the whole hand as one grips an apple. You can relieve tension on the fingers and the wrist, when not scanning, simply by keeping the probe between the fingers.

The appleprobe has been designed for both grip:

innovative palm hold
conventional pincer hold

Two transducer connectors allow two probes to be connected to the system: switching the probe selection during an examination is simple, further increasing efficiency and workflow. An optional multi-connector is available, allowing up to four transducers to be connected and selected via the intuitive software interface.

General Imaging/Women’s Health

MyLab^™Gamma’s is also well-suited to General Imaging applications. The latest imaging processing technologies (XViewand MView), portability and high-level of automation, help reduce exam times and increase diagnostic capabilities.

The wide range of available transducers allows the user to choose the best probe for every radiology examination. The convex and endocavity probe provide excellent image quality within the Women’s Health application, whereas the 3D probe can also be used during a standard examination.

For Ob-Gyn applicationsthe system offers both Bi and Tri-dimensional outstanding image quality, thanks to the most updated rendering methods. For Muskuloskeletal apllications, MyLab^™Gamma provides 18MHzquality imaging and panoramic imaging.

Optimal Solution for a Range of Applications

Point-of-Care:With MyLab^™Gamma, ultrasound can be effortlessly brought to the Point-of-Care. High level automations and ergonomics improve workflow and reduce exam’s time.

Anasthesiology:Anaesthesia is a medical intervention for which ultrasound can be easily used. MyLab^™Gamma perfectly suits this application, offering outstanding quality in superficial districts, thanks to 18 MHz imaging.

Emergency/Critical Care:MyLab^™Gamma offers great advantages and clinical benefits for simple daily interventional procedures as well as for complex patient conditions. Emergency and critical care physicians will be able to deliver extremely high quality ultrasound scanning with this system.

Needle Enhancement

An enhanced and clear image of the target area during intervention procedures. The technology enables users to visualize the target structures and needle in order to automate the entire procedure. The advantage is an increased accuracy of intervention procedures due to real-time imaging: this leads to an improved workflow, biopsy confidence and greater patient comfort.

Education: On-board Application-Specific Libraries

MyLibrary is an innovative application dedicated tool integrated in the MyLab^™systems for users’ reference, which includes anatomical atlas and “How to do” reference images.

Education is a very sensitive and important subject, especially in those applications where ultrasound has been more recently acquired as technology to support the procedures. Esaote understands this necessity and is convinced that educational support has to be easy and fast for any user.
